Tamarind - Reservar uma mesa

Eleven of us had a catch up dinner here on Friday night.  Seeing some of the mixed reviews I must admit that I went to this restaurant with some trepidation and I had decided that I wouldn't bother with entrees. However the group decided to order a lot of dishes, including entrees, to share and I went along with the flow.  The entrees aren't as good as the mains, but much better than expected given some of the reviews I have read on this site.  The mains, in general, were excellent. The beef massaman curry was the best I have ever tasted and the choo-chee fish was stunning. The only disappointment was with the Pad Thai, which was one of the worst I have ever had.  However...

Good quality Asian food for those who are not feeling too adventuress. The food looked and tasted great but was not anything  different or exciting. The service was friendly and the food came very quickly. The restaurant was very quiet, not even some background music to create some atmosphere. Perhaps take-away is the way to go.

I don't think I've been to a Cambodian restaurant before. Unfortunately I was way too hungry to remember to take photos for here, so you'll have to trust me that it looked great. And it tasted even better. I highly recommend the Massaman (sp?) curry - mild & delicious. BYO anything alcoholic is a plus too

Friendly staff, serviço eficiente, ambiente agradável (perfeito para uma data). Nossa comida saiu rapidamente, ambos os pratos eram bons serve, cheio de carne e frutos do mar, grande degustação. Bem razoável, consistentemente bom, mas não "te afaste fantástico". É BYO que é um bônus!

Meu parceiro e eu vemos aqui com frequência. Sempre serviço rápido e amigável, atmosfera casual e a comida é incrível sempre fresco. Parece ser muito popular nos fins de semana, então paga para reservar.
