yes, that was a great little gem in harbor. skye was also a great addition to the atmosphere of the restaurant. he worked at the lighthouse inn restaurant in seal harbor before he came here. When I was there last summer, the site was just an empty amount. ne harbor lost a lot of its character from two big bubbles. the colonel has come back, but not the tan turtle.

we were in the acadia national park last year after we were missing a few years. in our favorite restaurant all over the tan turtle our first night. I couldn't wait. what a disappointment to find it no longer. why was not this great restaurant rebuilt . . . .

we come once in the year to the barport. we arrived yesterday and I will now find out that the turtle is no longer. we are so sad. we wanted to be our fun, darling, mock. what a grief! I hope they're rebuilding.

I am from new york city and I can honestly say that the tan turtle was one of the best bars and restaurants I've ever been. the fire was a scandal! rip tan turtle

I agree, I loved that place! Great lobster rolls and an awesome beer selection. Does anyone know what is replacing Tan Turtle?
