Tanaka Japanese - Reservar uma mesa

It's after you try other restaurants like- Tanaka that you learn to appreciate this place. I hope they stay in business for decades to come. This is the best traditional Japanese sushi and sashimi restaurant in the greater Atlanta/Sandy Springs/Roswell area! We have visited here at least 40+ times and have never came out hungry or disappointed. We try bishoku and circle sushi for the first time after thinking hmmm let's try something new. Nah, Tanaka is the place for us to eat sushi as long as we don't leave Georgia.

We came back to try some different items and while we didn't have as great of a selection this time, I would still recommend Tanaka! The shumai tasted like a frozen snack you would get at a grocery store and the nigiri was not impressive. I would stick to the spicy tuna crunch roll with toro and their small plates.

Very good food and service. Intimate interior spaces and all sweetly tucked away inside a strip mall! Sushi offerings were interesting and well prepared. The unagi was excellent, along with the tobiko and Ikura! Did not try dessert, but did experience a delicious saki. Looking forward to a return trip soon!

My favorite Japanese restaurant! The sushi bar is small and there are not many tables. It gets full quickly in the evening. Being half Japanese, when I am missing my mother, I go for dinner or get a carry out. It reminds me of my childhood. I have never been disappointed at this restaurant.

It was sooooo good and fresh. I had to order three rounds of nigiris. The uni melted in my mouth and my two year old ate 5 pieces of tamago nigiri. The spicy scallop roll was perfect!
