Tapas 24 Montreal - Reservar mesa

We were looking for somewhere near our hotel and came across this tapas bar. Although they were very busy with an event for a conference they still found us a table. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had the cod croquettes (delicious and moreish) the grilled aubergine, the guacamole (very light and beautifully presented), and the potatas bravas (very nice, but could be a little bit spicier). All washed down with a glass of cava. Not cheap, but well priced for the quartier international. The chocolate desserts are worth trying, but the one with salt, oil and bread is a distinctive taste.

Host was rude, looked at us but didn't acknowledge us and just continued her conversation with a co worker. Service was begun with one server and then we were randomly given another with no explanation. The food was very good. Small portions and higher cost though. Cocktails were okay. It's EXTREMELY loud. If you're looking for a romantic dinner where you don't have to yell at each other to be heard, this isn't the place.

I strongly suggest trying a different restaurant. Fish Bone increased their menu prices by 20% from the moment we sat down to when we paid our bill (which took about 1 hour). Although they did refund us after a challenging discussion, they did not account for the tip and conversion costs. We departed feeling deceived.

Good food and service. However, for cost it was underwhelming. things like using cheap takeout chopsticks, dirty pillows, broken fixtures in washroom all add up to leaving one leaving disappointed. Unfortunate, because I think with a bit more effort it could be very good. Reserve uma mesa agora

We started with... tapas of course. The iberican ham, and the platter of mushrooms and some oysters was above average. The ceviche was good, just a smallish portion. We had the seafood stew, and the paella, both of which could have used more seasoning, so...More

We had Sam as our server and he was so friendly! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was wonderful.
