large free space, which means that it is not in the possession of a brewing company. they offered me a rehearsal of a lager I was interested in. it should be, but it is rare. we ordered two cakes, a bark and a chicken stable. it took one because to get it, but was worth waiting. server apologized; it is homemade, he said, and it was! great crust, good veg and a gravy that did not suck! kartoffels that were spiced. really good eating is ready to wait as good eating means more than sticking in a microwave. the pub comes with a cat we haven't met and a beer garden (too cold in april?! unjust. we're back, we hear great things about Sunday.

Friendly and relaxed Atmosphere and an excellent roast. Great crackling with the pork and my wife thoroughly enjoyed the vegetarian option. My daughter and friend both agreed the beef and chicken were very tasty and well cooked. The only slight grumble was it could of been served a bit hotter. But will definitely be going back for another roast soon. Cheers.

friendly and competent staff. large selection of real ales, beautifully held. beautiful home made bark cake on the site. Traditional pub interior with eclectic decorations and exterior seating area. I will definitely see again.

great pub! really friendly staff and an excellent selection of cheap beer and apple wines. loved the decor, especially in the courtyard, and the food looked good. was not my first visit, and certainly not my last!
