It was an okay experience until it came time for the bill, we went up and paid but saw there were changes and different items which we hadn’t ordered. We got taxed for a large group when it was only three of us and not 8. Overcharged us on almost all the items and added some to what we had originally ordered. When asked about the avocados(which weren’t ordered as my mom is allergic) the cashier got defensive and said the avocados on the receipt were the tripe tacos, then said they were tongue tacos which weren’t ordered either. It was one of my top Mexican restaurants until today. We had 3 adults and a 7 year old child. We ordered 2 sample platter and a carne asada. Which came out to $32.97 Plus the chicken nuggets my little sister ordered which was an extra $5.99. That would bring the total cost to $38.96 plus 3 horchata which is $10.50 so the total price of all the food would be $49.46 but when we got the check they had brought the price to $66.81 due to what they say is a “large party” which is just a small party of 4 which consisted of just a two women and a high school graduate with a 7 year old little girl. Tried this place on the hunt for great tacos in Madison. Turns it to be just ok. The chimichanga was really good, but the tacos were average. Nothing to write home about, so I’ll write you…lol! The tacos were cheap though, so that was nice. The atmosphere was pretty cool, kind of in a low key area. Easy to miss if you’re not looking for it. Service was incredibly friendly, albeit a little slow. Don’t wait for the check at the table, pay at the register. The menu is extensive, so try several different things if you want. We also only tried three of the tacos, so the others might be bangin’! The hunt continues!!!

I love this place. I have been coming here for years. The food is always AMAZING. More importantly, the staff is wonderful. I always feel cared for when I come. The staff treats everyone with such respect and dignity. While I was there, an elderly man at a neighboring table accidentally spilled his soda on himself and his meal. The staff was so respectful. They helped him clean himself up, got him a new soda, and a new meal. They treated him with such care and dignity. I just really appreciate everybody that works there. Reserve uma mesa agora

This restaurant is so cute and serves delicious food. Unfortunately, they are not transparent with their prices and in fact they up-charged us for no reason. Two kids horchatas ended up totalling $14. That is ridiculous. They also charged different (higher) prices than were on the menu. This sketchy practice is a detriment to their business and not worth the extra dollars they get from people. I saw in reviews that others had similar issues. Very unfortunate.

I went there the other evening after a long day, and they were very friendly and inviting. I ordered the carne asada plate and it was outstanding. The grilled cactus was almost as big as the steak and was great. Muchas gracias. Me encanta este restaurante!!

Very tasty lunch, this was my first time here and I’m so excited to come back again. You can taste the freshness and quality in the ingredients. Wish I would have taken pictures. I will next time for sure.

This place was extremely tasty. We had 15 minutes to eat and they took our order and got it to us and we didn’t feel rushed. Super friendly staff. Reserve uma mesa agora

Very good steak tacos. The hot sauce in the red bottle is great! Salsa not much but the pico worth the extra
