Taqueria El Mexicano

Taqueria El Mexicano is one of many taquerias hidden within shopping centers in this area in Maryland. I stopped in for a Saturday lunch. Here’s my experience: 1) Food: They have a full menu of tacos from pollo to carnitas and many other items like burritos. Even though Yelp directed me to the tacos, I ordered a carnitas burrito. I have no regrets. The burrito is stuffed with rice, buttery carnitas and veggies. It comes with a green salsa and a red salsa both with the right amount of kick. I added an orange can soda bringing my bill to $11. Not a bad deal at all! 2) Service: The staff are nice, but I did have to wait for 25 minutes for my burrito to go. Terrible experience! I purchased teleras on a Friday afternoon for breakfast the next day, only to find out they were rotten. They were also way overpriced at $2.00 each. Unfortunately, I couldn't return them as I had to leave on a trip. Just got back today and I'm still upset about it. I will never buy from there again, even if I have a craving. The Flower of Puebla sells them for 48 cents and they are fresh and delicious. Make sure to get there early though, as they sell out quickly due to their fresh bread.

Small place in a little strip mall with delcious, authentic food. The carne asada was delicious, but the mole is the real star. Everything comes with fresh sauces, tortillas and superb pinto beans. The salad was a little wilted and an after thought, but everything else fresh and good.

I paid $17.00 for my meal at this restaurant. I ordered ribs and received something else. I would like a manager to speak to the lady who was working on November 23rd from 8-9 pm, as she was very rude and dishonest. Reserve uma mesa agora

This place has the most disgusting tortas, the chicken was super burnt and flat didn’t have chicken inside at all. As well as the break was super thick waste of money.

Food is always delicious . I love bringing my family here for a fulfilling meal. Carne asada tacos and homemade salsas are the best thing here!!!!
