We spent 2 days at the resort. We were 3 families of the George clan. This was a celebration of our 50th wedding anniversary and we wanted to spend it with our children and our grandchildren. We booked our reservations on Feb. 1/23 with Mike who is very personable. We booked one 2 bedroom unit and two one bedroom units which ended up being in the Boathouse East next to the main lodge. The two bedroom unit was equipped with a full kitchen and spacious lounging area that made it possible for us all to be together. The bedrooms had their individual full bathrooms. Our experience was very disappointing, the property is run down, restaurant is run down, it closes at 9pm, there 's no music or entertainment, rooms are poorly kept, not clean and spider webs and dead insects everywhere, there is no proper breakfast offered, no hot breakfast option that you can pay for, the continental breakfast is a joke very cheep low quality pastries and that 's it, coffee from thermos, it 's not a continental breakfast whatsoever, the mattress is old and pillows are very uncomfortable, the property is overgrown and full of mosquitos, clearly nobody cares for the comfort of the people that come and pay $600/ $1500 per night. What a beautiful resort on Lake Muskoka. From the moment we checked in we were made to feel great. The front desk gentleman had us laughing and really took the time to make us feel welcome and explain all the amenities pools , spa, fitness centre and beach. Our suite overlooking the water was one of the most beautiful rooms we have stayed in in a long time. It was spacious, spotless and super comfy. The beds are SO great. Our unit had a full kitchen and a BBQ on our private deck. This place is incredible! We stayed in the treetop villas, and they were absolutely extraordinary—it felt like we had entered a tropical paradise! The service was exceptional, the views breathtaking, and the food and drinks at Bob’s Boathouse Bar were fantastic. I highly recommend this place and I can't wait to return! Wow! What an amazing place with the friendliest staff! The facilities are fantastic and everything is spotless. The food at Bob's Bar is excellent, and the beach is lovely with plenty of activities available. Our four-bedroom room was stunning and perfect for our family. There was even a wedding on the dock – it's a great venue for events!
What an awesome place to stay! We took part in so many activities. Paddle boarding, kayaking, canoeing and of course just lounging around the beach, pool or hot tub. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Outward appearance of the resort is so gorgeous!!! For sure a repeat customer!!!
