The food goes far beyond most tavern farewell I had by far-- I ordered the Jalapeno Mac a cheese because I wanted comfort food in a cold night and it was the best I ever eaten. If I had been alone in my own kitchen at home, and this stuff was sitting on the counter, it'd be all in vain. On an earlier occasion I ordered a hamburger and - as far as I remember all the hamburgers I had eaten in my life, theirs were also the best. I didn't crack you. They. Best, hamburger. I don't know why it's taken me so long to review The Tavern on Main! This is our go-to place in Buda. The staff is amazing, the food is phenomenal, and the beer is always cold. I wanted to post about a great experience with the staff but I couldn't pick just one and naming them all and how amazing they are would make this a much longer review than I have time to write at them moment. Bottom line is: Go to The Tavern on Main!

I love this place. Casual, small town feel with a friendly staff. I was surprised by the delicious food path over typical bar food expectations! Try the hummus plate and the Cuban sandwich. Yum!

This place has some of the best food in Buda. Super friendly staff. And it's one of my favorite places to just take it, listen to music or watch football.
