Taverna Filoxenia - Reservar uma mesa

Unfortunately we are very disappointed after our first visit to Filoxenia. We had ordered bifteki filled with feta and supplement as well as a mussaka, each with a small mixed salad, which is made at the table itself and a good fresh bread (which was still the best). The Moussaka was the worst thing I've ever been serving in a Greek restaurant; instead of a fluffy, fresh edition of bechamel sauce prepared with freshly raised yogurt and parmesan, I got the run up with dried, very brown surface served in undefined composition. It didn't taste like that. Since the bifteki didn't taste my husband, in our opinion the fresh herbs and also garlic in the minced meat mass were missing, they also say...

Actually, it's 4 1/2 stars! The Taverna is cozy, rather rustic and genuine Greek, as far as I can judge. The service is very nice and attentive, the food is really delicious and very good. (Two older ladies: We have never eaten such a delicate lamb haxe! . The portions are quite large, but according to my experience, the size varies the house plate (she says so? was much larger during the first visit. But even the second time big enough to sown a hungry guest. Also the selection is interesting, besides the classic dishes such as Moussaka and Gyros there are less well-known, tasty dishes to discover. Shortly before... we were here twice now and will certainly not come back... The sections are quite small here. My gros, then the grill plate was honestly a laugh. The homemade pommes... I miss the words. Labbrig, cold and not through. The Greek plate, a spit and the balls.... Neee... they didn't really taste and the meat was dry. At the appetizer... olives, garlic bread, Tzazicki (which is so correct) the garlic bread was unusable. It seemed to be warmed up several times and was therefore very bad and heavy. My wife was very happy with her upturn. Conclusion... There are clearly better Greeks...

Very nice operation, on the other hand the facility has come a bit in the years. The appetizers (pasts) made a not so fresh impression and the taste could not convince here. Unfortunately, the beer was also a bit scary. The main course, on the other hand, was very tasty especially the lamb jersey is highly recommended!

Good Greek with a family atmosphere. Very nice service that also likes to fulfill special requests. In summer it can be hard to get a place outside. :
