Tawandang - Reservar uma mesa

I have eaten in many Thai restaurants and as a vegetarian have never had any problems finding dishes. Not so at Tawandang. Their menu had a couple of vegetarian entrees and only 1 vegetarian main option, so I was disappointed by their limited menu. Having said that though, the one dish was very nice and my wife and I were still able to have a pleasant meal here. Simple setting not flash, not crappy. Service was fine, prices were okay.

A real poor experience. Dirty tables piled high when previous customers had left . Waiting on staff polite but after ordering the largest RAT I have ever seen scurried across a table and tried several times to climb a wall from the table to the corner bar. We were all shocked and told the managers but no apologies at all. Must be a regular occurrence as they were not at all surprised . Needless to say we all walked out (5 people) .

Went in for food. Eventually a table was cleared from the detritus scattered everywhere. We ordered and while we were waiting for our food a MASSIVE RAT casually strolled across the table next to us. Needless to say we got up and left. Staff didn't even apologise or seem surprised. Disgusting.

Stopped in here for lunch. Pleasantly surprised by the really flavoursome Thai dishes. Good quality ingredients, fresh flavours and prompt service.

Disappointing and a bad experience. Only two of us, one meal forgotten, extra rice charged that was not ordered.
