I would rate Thai to LA a 2.5 out of 5. Living near Thai Town, my expectations for Thai food are quite high. However, I occasionally visit this restaurant with coworkers because it is convenient to our office. The food is typical neighborhood Thai cuisine, nothing extraordinary. The lunch specials are hit or miss, but generally decent and priced between $7-9 before tax and tip. My go-to dishes are the pad thai with tofu and the yellow curry chicken. I was disappointed by the green chicken curry with vermicelli noodles, as it was bland. The fried rice combination, priced at around $9, was okay but not exceptional.
