Our mixed group visited the Thalmühle Inn for lunch on 26.09.2018 and was delighted by the traditional and rustic rural atmosphere, the friendly and fast service and the delicious and carefully arranged food. Another thing that made a very good impression on me personally was the mix of music, consisting of oldies, disco and contemporary songs from all over the world – a real joy for my ears! Of course, if you are ready to listen to traditional Tyrolean music, but after 10 days only listening to traditional music, you start crying. This is without a doubt a really traditional restaurant with delicious food. Lovely staff and beautiful surroundings. Deserves a 5 star. However they allow dogs and there was a huge dog next to our table. I am not a dog person and felt quite uncomfortable with it next to us therefore the 4 stars.

We visited with friends who regularly eat there and who love the food. We all chose the Weiner Schnitzel and it was excellent as the traditional accompaniments. Beautiful desserts and good service. We're going to visit again.

Great place, a nice dinner. The food is delicious, nicely plated, quite expensive. Friendly staff, flexible if needed, free parking and warm and happy atmosphere. It is one of the best restaurants in Oberau.

We called in for lunch at a busy time during a local festival and found the staff friendly, the menu good, drinks reasonably priced and the food, when it came, tasty. The loos were good too and very clean!
