Thanasis Tavern - Reservar uma mesa

This was our first (and definitely last) time we will be visiting this restaurant. We have been to many Greek restaurants so we are in a great position to comment. It was incredibly loud and the music was okay, but the 'banquet' was pathetic!!!! We invited another 2 couples and were very embarrassed when, at the end of the night, they all said they would be stopping for take away on the way home. The food is nothing more, nothing less quality wise, it's what you would expect. However, they do NOT serve either a meat,nor a seafood platter, They present you with a normal sized plate, suitable for 2 people, absolutely not 4!!! The Tavern is under new management - it has been revamped inside - excellent customer service, great music and entertainment. The addition of music on a Friday night is welcoming as is their Friday menu. Dips are home made and delicious with their crusty bread. Sharing plates are generous. Great venue for birthday bookings. ☺️

Went back to Thanasis after three years, heard its under new management.Excellent service, food was beautiful and sooo much, we just could not eat it all. The music and singers were amazing. we had the best time ever.!!! Thanks guys we will definitely be back

Staff very friendly, made us feel welcome and relaxed, good service. Food was very good. Live Greek music and dancing was great. Reasonably priced. Authentic and enjoyable Greek experience! Would definitely go there again. Thank you!
