The Abbey - Reservar mesa

The quintessential neighborhood bar. Great drinks and tasty food. There are a lot of bars/restaurants in Washington Square, but every time I want to venture in this area, I wind up in The Abbey. The place gets pretty packed quickly, so you may have to plan accordingly. Food is comforting, good amount of choices on the menu and the drinks are great. The portions are on the smaller side, which I like you can order and try different dishes. It's a cool little bar check it out.

I’ve eaten here for lunch and dinner and both times was blown away by the flavor. The hot chicken sandwich was perfect! Just the right amount of heat and a hint of sweet. The home made pickles are NOT sweet which better complements the already sweet sauce. The fries were crispy and everything was piping hot. The arugula salad was tasty and fresh. I’ve also had the lamb lollipops and those were amazing too!

I was genuinely impressed with this restaurant; it definitely surpassed my expectations. The food was solid and had some creative twists that added a nice flair. However, it was the service that truly earned this place a 5-star rating. From the bartender to the waitstaff, everyone was warm and welcoming. Since I live nearby, I would certainly return for a few pints and a nice dinner.

This place has very tasty food in quite a variety of options (flat breads, burgers, seafood and fish), and very good service. The cocktails were delicious and strong! Small place, so it gets crowded, but worth it.

I had an incredible experience at the restaurant! I ordered the mussels and the salmon, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The customer service was also outstanding. Highly recommended!

This is by far the best place I've been to. The bartenders are fantastic, and the food is delicious. The atmosphere is incredibly warm and welcoming!
