The Alpine Chef - Reservar mesa

Some of the best German styled food I've ever had. This appeared to be an old converted train station that offered a lovely and elegant ambiance with sandstone walls, hardwood floors, unique artwork of German landmarks, and vaulted ceilings. I tried a seasonal special with Elk sausage, stroganoff noodles, artichokes and tomatoes. I tried the potato dumplings (they were just ok) and cream corn (which was delicious). My husband had the Alpine schnitzel, which he loved. For sides he had the German potato salad and the sauerkraut. The sauerkraut was the best I've ever tasted with a very unique taste. Beautiful day, beautiful experience. The authentic atmosphere, food, and service humbly shined in everything as when one encounters the rarest heart of home- respected hospitality here. The Alpine Chef is a timeless treasure that is a true American rarity to be enjoyed. The hospitality experience with them was wonderfully refreshing. That's a beautiful spirit worthy of high regard.

The food was delicious, the portions were generous. Service was attentive without being invasive. Actually got to meet the Chef and give our compliments directly. Dining in the Bier garden was a nice topper. Keep up the good work! We definitely plan on coming back

The 6 six of us enjoyed delicious food, generous portions. We are looking to enjoying leftovers for another day. Chris B. was a great server. He was pleasant, courteous, and an asset to Alpine Chef. He was attentive but not intrusive. We will be back. Reserve uma mesa agora

We have been several times, very consistent, very good food and service. Although it seemed the manager was still in her pajamas including bedroom slippers!

Holy cow! I wish I lived here because I am in love with the Alpine Chef! Best sauerkraut, jaegerschnitzel and beer selection! Couldn’t be happier. Prost!

We drove up from Virginia Beach just to try this place for lunch. It was definitely worth it Food and service were absolutely great Will be coming back

Just stopped in for something cold to drink, awaiting the train. Very nice place and terrific service.
