As well as a top-drawer selection of ales at the lowest prices around The Anchor has the full range of amenities you 'd expect 'the local ' to have but so few still do; fresh food every day, live music at least twice a week, regular darts matches, television in a corner discreetly showing sport, even a meat raffle, as well as occasional specials, for example an authentic Greek meal van visiting once a month. We go here for a social with our local choir. They are so accommodating and supportive for any local musical groups. Always have a fabulous time. The staff couldn't be nicer. Drinks are food are great.

Proper traditional pub {over 21s}run by award winning landlord. Pub grub not gastro meals. Choice of real ales also lagers and 0% Ghost Ship in bottles and Guinness Zero on tap.

Popped in for 1 drink. Nice friendly staff, seemed like a proper pub. I can't rate the food as i never ate.
