The Anchor Inn - Reservar mesa

I visited this restaurant with my family on a last-minute decision. Although another reviewer mentioned that it was extremely busy, we found that there were some available seats, and the staff was diligently working to ensure that the service was top-notch, as always. I have no complaints about the food; the hunter's chicken was delicious and even earned a thumbs-up from a picky eater at our table. Everyone enjoyed their meals. We were checked on within five minutes of receiving our food, which was great. The service was excellent! Mark made sure our drinks were always topped up without us having to ask. We had a delightful dinner yesterday with my partner, and they even offer meals for dogs! There's a great selection of beers, wines, and spirits. Jenny particularly enjoyed the Gordons Oink gin paired with Sicilian lemon tonic. We've already made a reservation for Mother's Day, which features a three-course meal for just under £21.

The food was excellent and offered great value for money. We received a warm welcome from the staff, who were very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was cozy, making it a pleasant dining experience. I highly recommend visiting. In the summer, you can also enjoy a seating area in the garden.
