The Ashley Park Ember Inn

This was my first time at The Ashley Park, and it definitely won’t be my last. I was here with an elderly friend, to bring her out after she’d had a stroke. Service was excellent, efficient and team members were very friendly and helpful. The Sunday menu was comprehensive and very good value for money, as indeed are all the menus offered. The was hot and plentiful and with the excellent service, our visit was complete and exceedingly enjoyable. Looking forward to many more visits in the future.

Food ok for the price. Menu said soup came with ciabatta bread it didn't, it came with a very small slice of part baked baguette! Also, it would have been nice to have some salad with the burger and chips. Lastly, they couldn't serve tea/coffee at 9.30 because they'd closed down the coffee machine. Why so early when people are eating and a travel lodge next door! The service however was very good.

Food was poor and not worth the costs. Scampi was frozen rubbish not home made. Place smelled really bad Outside and inside dated. If it wasn't for the fact we were meeting family and had prebooked i wouldn't have even gone inside.

Always great to have a meal or a drink with friends, atmosphere is good and price is convenient.
