The Bat And Ball Inn

I can't believe how the time has passed, anyway went back to bat ball. very efficient staff, which once table immediately clears the opposite, which seemed clean anyway. ordering hsb and yes the same high standard, sham some other public houses can not to this...standard, anyway we ordered blade of bark meat, garlic mushroom and a fish cake, we all agreed our meal times were very good and definitiw fill. When we finished eating on the tellers, the tellers looked like they didn't have to wash. (but of course they did it) hsb current price with boris not yet up to date. since this is apparently the home of the sophisticated English kricket and minister president in hambledon, boris has a party...

Just been for a Christmas Dinner with four friends and the pub is lovely, the staff are warm and friendly but sadly the food let it down, the Chicken Liver parfait was delicious, the mains where ok.....just ok.... but the desserts where awful, poached pear...was cold and hard, Christmas pud was flavourless and stodgy, didn't eat it, and the milk chocolate parfait was not a parfait, it was solid and missing the promised Raspberries, didn't eat it, we told our waitress but no alternative was offered, they where not taken off the bill, not even a complimentary drink was offered, not even coffees, so disappointed.

We had a very disappointing experience at Bat and Ball restaurant. We ordered from the menu and were told the children's portions were too large. Our order took an hour to arrive and we had to ask multiple times for updates. The child's food was inedible and clearly microwaved. One of the adult mains had rubbed cheddar on it. Overall, we cannot recommend this restaurant as our experience was extremely disappointing. Maybe we just had bad luck or they were having a rough day.

Met friends here for lunch last week; for us a minutes drive and well rewarded; serice could not have been better; interesting food especially the specials; great ambience; wine list good; and something we dont normally record either way but no music and just...the sound of people enjoying themselves

The food service was outstanding, the atmosphere as warm and inviting, all cooked to perfection and its what we like good food and great service , we will be coming back again . Thank you to you all
