Just finished a Sunday roast and extremely underwhelmed, went to this pub about a year ago and had a great experience so returned upon passing (won’t be making that mistake again). 62 pound for two drinks, and two roasts, that consisted of two roast potatoes, no gravy at all, a dry Yorkshire and veg that consisted of peas and cabbage, 20 pound per roast was daylight robbery to be honest. To half full plates and not so much as a “how was the meal” Poor service, mediocre food. Poor from a youngs pub.

Great food and atmosphere. Large selection of beers and ales on tap. Sunday roast was amazing and you should see the size of the Yorkshire piddings !! Starters were so tasty we hired out a private room for a 30th birthday and it was perfect. All the staff made it extra special too

A fairly good pub. Bit expensive but overall the service and food was good. The menu is limited and needs to include some traditional pub grub, the children’s menu should include what kids will eat. Recently pub restaurants are losing touch with what people want.

Me and my boyfriend had a lovely couple of drinks here this evening. Staff was all lovely particularly we thought Henry was very sweet and made us some lovely drinks. Will be coming back again, Thank you!

Gorgeous pub with friendly staff. Great bar range (albarino was delicious! And enjoyed our food. Lots of choice and clear all was freshly made. Will be back! Thanks Team bear!
