Very impressed by this place. Even while they were very busy, they could get us a table under 15 minutes. The Clam Chowder was exceptional, but somewhat overpriced compared to the surrounding restaurants. The Reuben sandwich ordered and it was the best corn-rib sandwich I had before. Also, not even ten minutes after the Chowder came, our food was served. Great experience to say the least. Edit: After reading some of the reviews of others from this place, I am absolutely apauled. A common complaint to be seafood is too salty. Maybe you shouldn't eat in a fish restaurant, then lol.

I've been back to Black Pearl for many years. I came to the proposal for a new employee tonight. I sat down. I ordered a Sam Adams and the Shell Chowder. I told the person next to me that it was my first Chowder. Then bartender Brian and I talked about it. Such a great atmosphere. I can't say enough. I'm not a local and the friendliness of the couple next to me was unsurpassed and Brian is just great. My first Chowder was amazing!

Came here on a Friday afternoon and thought I couldn't get a seat. But they took me kindly. Tess was my waiter and was very friendly, patient, friendly and professional. I recommend a bowl of her Commodore Chowder. It is alittle runny.l, but the taste is phenomenal!! The Commodore Burger was very delicious!! Toasted rolls and perfectly medium rare. Lightly expensive, but quality comes at a price. I will return!

The Clam Chowder is amazing. High traffic at weekends, during low season. Just get in and out on weekdays. Beautiful atmosphere and had a really friendly waitress who gave is a lot of information about places to visit and eat. The swordfish sand that was the best.

Definitely I'll give a 5 star. The service was very fast. The food was amazing, best place to eat sea food. The clams, oysters and mussels were amaaaazing. We had almost all the cocktails and they were great as well.
