The Bowling Green - Reservar uma mesa

This was our first time visiting the Bowling Green restaurant. I ordered the chicken rib combo and my wife ordered the smothered chicken, only to be told that they had run out of BBQ sauce. I was surprised that a restaurant could run out of BBQ sauce, especially on a Sunday evening at 6:00. My wife asked if she could just have ribs and chips without the chicken, but the answer was no. We didn't think it would be a problem to remove the chicken and bring just the ribs and chips to our table. We finished our drinks and left. We won't be returning.

Just been to the table table at Weeley, unfortunately we were not impressed. We waited ages for the meal when they came out the chips on both my husbands and my plates were cold and looked very unappetizing, the peas looked a very strange colour and tasted strange. More chips were brought out these were much better. Then one of our family had the Jam Roly again it came out cold, a second one came out much better. Most certainly will not go back.

Had table booked for 6pm. Seated 6.03pm. Did not see server for 15 mins. then server said won't be long. Took 30 mins to order drinks and was so long we were able to order our meals. Place the order, No, went to another table and took their order who came after us. 15 mins later had to remind our server DRINKS ? Sorry. 10 mins starter and main meat arrived together. Needless to say we will never return.

Went here for lunch. Had two meals for £11.49. One of us had the cheese burger, the other a lasagne. Quite small but very nice and an absolute bargain in these days of restaurants jumping on the proverbial bandwagon!

Lovely breakfast, plenty of options on the buffet style breakfast, excellent value for money, will definitely be returning
