we were swimming in south shields, so decided to come here to an early dinner. we came around 4 30 and it was very quiet, which was disturbing as they have stretched their food to help me order a Mexican. burger, my partner a hühnerburger and 2 kinder meals. When that came, I was pleasantly surprised by him. the Mexican burger was fresh and tasted like a real house made burger and the hühnerburger was also very beautiful, as well as the children's dishes. all in all, it was very nice and with it only come to £19 for 2 adult meal times, 2 children meal times and 2 pints (camp and apple wine) it is well worth it

really the best cheeseburger I had never, no grinning, no smelling meat pieces, all made home, including chips. it was absolutely delicious. service was so friendly and beautiful and environment really cool. I have no idea why the reviews for this place are so low, because we have always loved the food and the atmosphere. ignore the stars and give them a swirl. great value, excellent eating and beautiful staff!

we decided not to eat in our hotel because of expensive menu. I'm so glad we got into the brigade. we visited a Sunday when the carvery was, and I must say it was the best I ever had! the flesh was so lean and so great choice! the yorkshire puddings were so fluffy and tasty and all veg nicely cooked. it was a bit expensive, but it was worth it. the personal was also welcoming and professional.

I am not locally to south shields and was only to visit. decided to call here for food that expect nothing more than cheap cafe-like food, but was pleasantly surprised when the handmade burger and handmade chips were brought on our table. big service and cheap...too unfortunately no photos, because everything was polished quite quickly, but would definitely recommend!

Everything was very tasty and loads of different veg ‘ all home made, one of the best Sunday dinners we have had
