The Bull Shed website is well worth reading before you go. You’ll have to do it and book it up to a month before your visit as limited availability makes this popular restaurant something you’ll have to plan for but it is worth while. The atmosphere is cosy but even on a hot summer’s day, as in our case recently, it can still feel a tad on the cool side in this 18th century, waiting room for the dairy herds about to be milked. On colder days they light the log burner and I can imagine that to be an even more congenial experience. We will certainly be returning from time to time.
