Truthfully, I wasn't so sure if my kids would enjoy the Kelvingrove Museum. But, they loved it! We gave them the choice of whether or not we stopped at the museum on the way to our next adventure. Both of my young children enthusiastically opted to stop and go to the museum. Since it is free, I thought why not. The people working the museum were so incredibly nice and helpful. At the time the great organ was being played and we all enjoyed listening and watching the gentleman play as a family. The kids were actively engaged in all of the exhibits and asked a lot of questions. It was a great activity. The only trouble we had was parking, which really isn't the museum's fault. what a great place. amazing building. full of appreciation, brilliant selection of works of art, historical treasure and natural history sections. all with easy to understand information clearly displayed. the best choice we've seen in a place for a long time. very enjoyed our day here. good caffeine too. highly recommended

fantastic museum. perfect for a afternoon in glasgow. free. they get the best pieces of Egyptian, natural history, natural history Scottish, history of glassworks and a quite neat collection of paintings. I was thrilled because it was neither packed nor boring. could take my time and everyone respects each other thanks!

great selection of art, history and culture. museum has free entry and is a great location to learn more about the city and history. good selection of exhibits. would make a nice day for children. at least 2 hours for the visit. one of the best muses in glasgow.

a wonderful opportunity to spend a summer afternoon. the dinosaurs are not local, but it still makes fun to go under and around. the art is spectacular and sometimes amusing. all over 7 years.
