This restaurant is my local go-to spot. The service is always reliable and pleasant, giving off a feeling of being in a beautifully renovated home. The establishment strikes a nice balance between a pub and a fine dining experience. The staff is laid-back and never intrusive. There is a charming conservatory attached to the main dining area, which can be booked for special events. On the day of my visit, there seemed to be a children's party or outing, which did make the experience a bit noisy and disruptive. However, this didn't last long as I was able to enjoy a quick meal. This is my local restaurant. The service is always very safe, steady, and pleasant. The atmosphere feels like a renovated grand home, striking a balance between a top-end pub and a fine dining experience. The staff are laid back and not overbearing. There is an adjoining conservatory where you can dine, and it is often used for special occasions. The management greets you with a handshake, which is a nice touch. While it may not be the cheapest option, the overall ambiance and experience make up for it. It's a lovely venue, but I personally don't like restaurants where you can bring your dog inside.

My husband and I had dinner at this restaurant on Saturday. We ordered starters and main courses, all of which were of excellent quality, typical of a good gastro pub. They had a nice selection of wines by the glass, and my husband was happy with the selection of real ales, particularly the Sambrook's Wandle. Overall, we would recommend this restaurant.

Found The Canbury online and there were 9 of us for dinner. Excellent menu choices and the quality of food and wine was fabulous. Great atmosphere/ambience and very welcoming,friendly and helpful staff My only slight criticism might be that the restaurant was a little understaffed but this would not deter us from dining there again

by far to eat my favorite pub! the staff is knowledgeable and friendly and eating is excellent. I had the sunday redness and can confirm happy that it is the best I ever had in a pub. the daily specialties are always interesting and tasty and I honestly never have a bad dish!
