The Castle Inn - Reservar uma mesa

My husband and I visited this restaurant while staying at the lakeside campsite and what a fantastic discovery!! On Saturday, we decided to try the food without a reservation, and they said we could have a table in 45 minutes. We chose the £30 steak sharing platter, with the option to add mussels for surf and turf. We were both impressed by the amount of meat provided in the steak platter, as well as the garlic mushrooms, seasoned fries, burnt onion, and peppercorn sauce. Dear Mike, Do you know how hard it is to impress 12 women simultaneously? Well, the gang at The Castle Inn Llangorse managed it effortlessly. Firstly, let's talk about the impeccable service. Your team’s level of attentiveness and friendliness was superb, if there was a prize for the world's most accommodating staff, they should all be polishing their acceptance speeches. We were made to feel special from the get-go, with nothing being too much trouble, this played a significant role in making our evening unforgettable. Now, onto the star of the show: the food. Highly recommended. I went with my friends and we give a unanimous 'Fantastic ' review. Mike gave us a warm welcome to his pub. He also answered the many questions we fired at him about its history. Locally sourced food, prepared by Chelle, scrummy. We had the sharing steak platter, including garlic mushrooms, roasted onions, fries and peppercorn sauce. A choice of desserts, cheese cake, apple and blackberry crumble, waffles, brownie. I don 't think you 'll be disappointed. PS we also took our 4-legged friend with us.

Came for a meal as a group of 10 while on a weekend camping trip, absolutely loved it! Friendly, attentive staff and beautiful food, thoroughly enjoyed.

Awesome pub Mike was super friendly had some great stories to tell, all the staff were lovely the food was amazing definitely coming back in the future
