The Chandlers Arms At Shearsby

I’d heard great reviews about this pub. A lot of my friends have been recently and have said how good the food is. The food is good. There’s a large and varied menu and the portions are generous. It’s just a shame that our ladies night out started on a sour note. On arrival at the pub we said that we had a booking and were told where to find out table. We found it, sat down and started to chat. A few moments later a waitress came and asked to take our order. We told her that we were sorry but we hadn’t looked at the menu yet. We are a walking group and although they are not normally open on a Tuesday lunchtime they were happy to open for us provided we had pre booked. We arrived at 9.30 ordered our lunches and set off for our walk. Sadly it rained quite a lot but when we arrived back the fire had been lit and we all soon warmed up. Lunch arrived soon afterwards and everyone went away happy with the experience. Thanks for sorting everything for us

In Shearsby, the Chandlers is an interesting country Free House with food and a good range of ales. Lovely outdoor seating with views of the village green.
