My fiance and I arrived at the restaurant 20 minutes before closing time. We asked the male staff member if we could still order food, and he responded by saying that most of the kitchen was closed. He seemed annoyed when we walked in. We also noticed a person running from the back of the line to a booth, appearing to be a friend of the staff. The male staff member seemed visibly upset while taking our order for sandwiches and ice cream. We decided to take our food to go since the restaurant was closing soon. He seemed irritated when we got in. Even when we left, a random person ran from the back of the food line to a back stand to sit - provided that was the worker friend. The male was visible and helped us with our sandwiches and ice cream. We took our food to go because the place is closed shortly. We love this place. There was a mishap with my order this evening. I even tried to verify that the order was made correctly (a blt no mayo... my picky son won't eat it with the mayo) and was assured by the person who prepared it. Well, it had mayo and wehad to go back at a really inconvenient time. The manager on duty was excellent and the correction was handled perfectly andkindly. I really appreciated it and will definitely be back. Sorry for not asking the manager's name but it was between5-5:30pm. Thanks guys!
We love this place. Tonight there was a legacy with my order. I even tried to check if the order was made right (a blt no mayo... my picky son will not eat it with the Mayo) and was prepared by the person who prepared it. Well, it had Mayo and we had to go back to a really uncomfortable time. The manager was excellent and the correction was perfectly and friendly. I really appreciated it and will definitely be back. The fresh underroll bread is HEAVENLY. I also got a cup of Cheddar Broccoli soup that was quite delicious. You can check in a sip of ice when you have room! Staff are friendly and the food was prepared in time.
