Myself and partner were enjoying a few drinks in here last night, when several young males came in and went straight up stairs to the ladies toilets! Now the male toilets here are actually on the ground floor! My partner visited the toilet straight after these males came out and said that the cubicles were in a disgusting and unhygienic state, We were using this pub all week as we were on holiday and the toilets were previously clean. The one bars person on duty actually turned a blind eye to these males using the ladies and some of the regulars found it all hilarious! It has put us off coming here again. This pub sells good beer at a fair price but is let don by some of the local clientele. While we were there and we visited more than once, we saw more than one drunken person and lots of very loud male customers sat outside. It is not child friendly so dont take your kids. If you dont mind the rough and ready it is a great place for a pint.

Nice pub, prices are best in town. Bar staff really helpful and friendly especially Darcie dog friendly!! Too

Very reasonably priced no frills pub. Busy and lively.
