The Clubhouse Restaurante And Bar

We always visit the Clubhouse every year with 3 other couples ,A few things have changed but the same quality food and lovely staff continues to be the same .We had breakfast on 5 mornings and everyone agreed how nice it was coffee orange juice full English egg Benedict lots of choice and we even requested the bacon to be well done nothing was to much trouble and it was clean plates every morning .They even reserved our preferred table . I saw this advertised in our holiday villa so had a look to see where it was, we decided to walk which took us 35 minutes, but what a find. I had booked the night before for luch, they responded by messenger to say our table was booked. We received a lovely welcome and they explained the three course lunch menu, three courses, a half bottle of wine each and bread on the table for €16.95. The red wine was delicious, and so was the food. It was a limited menu, choice of about 4 starters, mains and dessert but it was first class. Been a few times before in an evening and decided today to take some friends for Sunday lunch. Very disappointed to be served less than average food. Plastic boil in a bag roast with tasteless veg and very little choice of anything else. One went off daily menu which was equally poor. Broiled steak that was equally tasteless and tough. Poor choice, will not be back, shame as it used to be good and feedback didn’t generate an interest from management team,

Wonderful easter Sunday lunch. The Club House never disappoints on service or quality. The menu is always imaginative and beautifully presented. Staff are friendly and helpful nothing is to much trouble.

Gone right down hill no Sunday roast anymore expensive but nice wine won’t return sadly as have eaten here a few times over the years
