How brilliant to have an independent coffee shop in Newtown! The mood is friendly and peaceful. Background music is good and with a subtle volume. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The place was packed many students studying alone or in small quiet groups. I had a cup of coffee of the day, and it was fantastic, can not wait to taste one of their special hot / cold drinks.

Super super super solid coffee shop. My partner and I own a handcrafted coffee roastery and look like these all the time they travel. The staff is happy to be there, serving large Counter Culter Coffee, they are also very well equipped to do this! Very recommended if you are interested in quality coffee and in the area. Please do not sleep on this offer if in Newtown.

Great coffee shop. The baristas were incredibly friendly; taking the time to offer suggestions and talk about their favorite drinks! The light roast was dialed in nicely, the cortado was smooth and the spro was on point! Great job! I will be back for sure.

The coffee room is a great little place! We had a little business meeting at a table. It was quiet and the atmosphere was comfortable! The local artwork was a great touch and the Biscotti was delicious! Although I don't live in Newtown, I'm back!

The Coffee Room is a great new addition to Newtown. Your coffee is always high quality as well as the friendly staff and daily baked goods at the counter. Give them a try that you're not sorry!
