On this day it was extremely hot outside and it appears the AC was broken inside. The bar is small, but the music was nice. The bartenders tried their best to keep up, but it was too busy for them. Beers were decently priced under $5 each. We did not know they even had food as we did not see it and were not offered any or a menu. Between the awnry regulars and the drunk overheated biker literally chilling out in the walk in cooler waiting for paramedics this was not really our thing. I would recommend an off day during the week when the AC was fixed to try it again. Overall this is probably a nice place to listen to live music with affordable drinks if the AC worked and it wasn't wall to wal...
I went on a karaoke night Monday and had a blast! Everyone there, including KJ Robert and the bartender, were super nice and friendly and invited me to return. Drinks were reasonable and though I didn't order food, I was told that their bar style food was very good. I will definitely go here again, though probably for karaoke on Mondays and Wednesdays. I did have trouble locating it, even with my GPS, as it was not well lighted, but now that I located it, should be no problem in the future.
This is my absolute favorite bar in Dallas! They have the best Karaoke Jockey in all of DFW, with some amazingly talented regulars (Monday/Wednesday). The drinks are reasonably priced (on the low side for Dallas). The food is great! The fries and chili cheese tots are on point, the burgers are good even cold, and the egg rolls should not be underestimated.
If you're looking for great food, great drinks, and great people, this is the place for you! It has everything! Play a quiet game of pool, listen to the jukebox, live music, or even do karaoke twice a week! Plus you can't beat their world famous burgers or my personal favorite, Southwest egg rolls with a sweet chili sauce.
