The Creek House Diner

First visit ever. When I walked in there were only 2 tables available but yet to be cleared. Granted they were pretty busy on a weekday lunch, but I was told to sit anywhere after a couple minutes of standing at the door. I awkwardly walked around to find only 2 tables available but not yet cleaned with the previous folks unfinished food and dirty dishes there. So I again awkwardly went back to the door to wait. No big deal, it 's a busy lunch. A table was cleaned and I sat down. After about 5 min, the waitress came over to provide menus and get me going. I already knew what I wanted as I used the online menu. Then I proceeded to wait for 1 hour (60 full minutes) for a single wrap and fries....

Great food, excellent service, very welcoming staff. We 're definitely coming back. The home made toast is not to be missed, I was very tempted to ask to buy a full loaf to take home. I want to compliment the staff for something I rarely see elsewhere. Someone brought in a service dog , had it up on furniture, and was feeding it bits of their breakfast. I 've been in many places where this kind of behavior would be ignored, even though it very much shouldn 't be. The staff appeared to politely ask about the dog 's training and why it was on the furniture, after which the customer left with the dog. Absolutely fantastic experience here. We are from northern VT. Was traveling through and on a whim went on a diner hunt, our family LOVES a good diner. This one was reccomended (4.6 stars on 400 reviews) and they was ON POINT! very small diner as is should be! Staff was friendly even while busy. Food was A TIER. Not one single thing to complain or critique. My family gives this spot a 10. Come out and see for yourself! Thanks for a great meal, We already are talkin about our next visit!

Thanks goodness we skipped the hotel breakfast and came here. Wow the breakfast was phenomenal. It breaks my heart to go back to new york and not have this absolute gem near me. I don't know where to start Coffee and iced coffee were great. The beef hash was phenomenal, almost skipped it but glad I didn't . The steak and eggs were incredibly tasty and the meat was juicy and well cooked. Felt like a steal to get that for 20. The pancak

A hidden gem indeed! Staff are very friendly and the food is amazing. Strongly suggest their veggie burger- it’s a in-house patty and it’s really delicious.
