Cross Keys - Reservar uma mesa

Wow! We went to the Cross Keys as we had heard good things and we had family visiting from Switzerland, so we decided to book in for the Sunday Roast. We were extremely well looked after by the lovely, attentive staff, despite us being a larger group- the atmosphere was pleasant, cosy and comfortable. When the food came out it was nice and hot, and absolutely delicious. The roasties with lashings of gravy were certainly a highlight! Some of our party from Europe had never had a traditional roast before, but polished off the lot nonetheless! I went with friend from overseas originally the bar staff where going to serve then insisted on seeing id of my friend who was 27 years old he showed copy of passport on telephone as not take original passport out and not accept ID felt the welcome was very cold and unwelcoming and have been here before but would never come again there seem to be underlying issue but anyway would not rate this pub as most welcoming in chester certsainly would not win in terms of hospitality

Best Sunday lunch in Chester! We had a very warm welcome and were served a delicious lunch with all the trimmings. Great atmosphere very friendly staff and welcoming landlords.

Really good pub, good range of beers and made to feel very welcome. Singer on who was very good too. Overall well worth a visits give it a go

Fantastic food 6 very happy people! Staff lovely, atmosphere brilliant. A real gem of a place for chester.
