We stayed one night on our way home from the Scottish Highlands as we have done a couple of years ago. Great value for money and a lovely comfortable well appointed , modern, clean, new room. The only issue was trying to get a meal...on a Saturday evening the restaurant was packed out. The waitress needed some training as she took our order but we had to wait for our drinks to arrive after chasing it up. The food order we suspected had not been sent to the kitchen as we had over an hours wait. The food was good but my garlic bread was missing and again after chasing up arrived well after I gad finished my meal. as a family for lunch, the pub was warm and welcoming. usual spoon menu and offers, personal were friendly. the food was as expected. the tables are a little cramped and no way to change a child

a friend comes together, but eating was disappointing. there were no options from the menu and one of the meals was served cold, which had to be returned.

what a nice room and experience ... really enjoyed our stay, staff efficient and friendly. all very clean and intelligent. the hotel cannot praise enough.

A couple of years since my last visit and it's not changed, just the same as before, a typical wetherspoons, decent food and service.
