We have dined at this restaurant before and had a positive experience, although it was some years ago. However, our most recent visit did not meet our expectations. Despite still enjoying the pub and its atmosphere, we found the menu to be lackluster and not reflective of what was advertised online. Despite our initial optimism and past positive experiences, the food was truly terrible and some of the worst we have ever had. My dish was inedible due to its lack of flavor and excessive spiciness. We decided to check out the pub after hearing about their new chef and menu. We were pleasantly surprised by the excellent food, generous portions, and reasonable prices. The service was welcoming, friendly, and quick. The dining area has been completely renovated and looks charming with exposed beams and soft lighting, creating a cozy atmosphere perfect for a dark autumn night. Overall, we were very impressed and will definitely be returning soon. Great job, keep it up!

The staff were more than helpful and catered to our every need. The meals were fantastic, delicious, and served to perfection. The chef came out to enquire if everything was to our satisfaction a very nice touch to a splendid evening,

This is a small but friendly pub serving pub grub, not a lot of choices but well cooked and tasty. We had burgers and also cajun salmon. Its a bit noisy but thats all part of the atmosphere which was good.

Very welcoming pub great service front of house.food was exceptional.staying over the room was great very comfortable clean.in all very pleased.
