The Crush House At Gervasi Vineyard

I picked the Crush House for a family get together 40 years in the making. I’m glad I did. We were set up in a private room. This allowed us all to visits and hear everything being said. Our server, Candace, was amazing. She was quick, witty, and made great recommendations. The food and the wine were outstanding. The setting was beautiful. Thanks to Candace, the chefs, and the whole staff for ensuring we had an amazing night to remember.

This is a cool place. The food is decent but nothing mind blowing. Our server was excellent. Unfortunately, it was extremely hot and there were a lot of gnats and flies which was a bit unappealing. I also got charged a service fee for using a debit card even after I told the server it was debit. Establishments that make patrons pay for their cost of doing business always leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Various food choices, all were tasty. Techniques were creative, tho shortcuts of the originals; e.g. gnocchi weren't individually formed, but rolled into a rope, cooked, then sliced. Seating areas are segmented, nooks crannies on two levels w/ only a stairway connection. Service plentiful, friendly.Food: 4/5

Did they get a new chef at the crush house. Ate there twice in the last 4 weeks. Food definitely didn’t taste the same. Sub par now. It used to be good. I always get the gnocchi it was just ok. Used to be excellent. Bring back the old chef .Food: 3/5
