The Cut - Reservar mesa

Booked as a pre cocktail and snack venue before we went to a west end show. Service was fantastic. First round of cocktails we loved. We repeated the order however received completely different glasses and servings of our cocktail each time before they told us after 4 of the same frozen drink they had run out. Snack menu was good but expensive for the small portions. Food was nice but bill was very high I am mindful of this as a pre theatre snack menu as the presumption there is that the customer will eat something light and go on to spend again post show on dinner. I visited this restaurant with a friend and asked the waitress about egg allergens in the dishes I wanted to order. She reassured me that there were no eggs, but later brought out calamari with egg-containing sauce without confirming with the kitchen. When I asked her about it, she admitted her mistake. I was extremely disappointed and concerned about the lack of attention to my severe allergy. I would advise those with allergies to avoid this restaurant.

Called for a drink with LJ after a busy day in London shopping and sightseeing. There are outdoor seats on the balcony but they were full so we sat outside downstairs at street level. Good place for people watching on The Cut and very pleasant on what was a warm September afternoon. Prices a little expensive but that’s London. Would visit again.

We enjoyed the duck and charcuterie, both of which were very good. The duck was plentiful and nicely cooked in a salad, although it lacked feta cheese which I didn't mind. We skipped starters and dessert, but the main dishes were filling. After being away for a while, it was nice to return to this restaurant. Reserve uma mesa agora

The restaurant has strange opening hours. There are many other nearby places that are open all day and provide excellent service while still taking your money. It seems like the Young Vic believes they are too high-class to prioritize traditional business practices.

We were staying in Southwark and this was our go to place for a drink either on our way back to our hotel after shopping or a night cap on the way to bed. We didn’t eat here but the wines and G&Ts were good. A nice dry rose or the vegan red were favourites.

Great food and great service. Came in with some friends, we ordered some tapas and the main course and the food was really tasty and the service was quick and everyone was really nice.

The place is ok. We have ordered a vegetarian plate good enough but pricey. The second dish was a joke. The risotto is something different. The rice was overcooked a complete mess. Reserve uma mesa agora

Had the most amazing waitress who saved the day. Average food and manager who said we needed to leave as table reserved for others. … one hour into our 2 hour booking
