The Fat Greek - Reservar uma mesa

I was in town for work and decided to dine at a local restaurant to support the community. Overall, my experience was mixed. I ordered the chicken gyro and the Fat Greek platter. The chicken gyro had lots of fillings and tasty sauces, but was quite messy to eat, requiring multiple napkins. As for the Fat Greek platter, I chose the lamb/beef mix which was charred and overly tough and dry. The tzatziki sauce was thick and lacking in flavor. Although I may be a bit critical, I believe the food could have been better prepared, especially considering the $30 tip I left. I suggest improving the cooking of the meat for a more enjoyable dining experience.

I appreciate that they include a Vegan option on their menu, but the staff must ensure it is prepared correctly. The last three times I ordered the vegan gyro, it was filled with feta cheese, so I will not be returning. However, when they corrected the mistake, it was very tasty. They also have some of the best pita bread I've ever tasted. My non-vegan friends enjoy this restaurant, but I have been the only one who has had an issue. The vegan dish includes salad, hummus, potatoes, and tahini, which is not uncommon.

We have ordered from this restaurant before with no issues using Uber Eats. However, there have been recent changes to the menu. Now, they only offer the option of a gyro over rice or fries, instead of the usual wrap, even though the description still mentions the wrap. We chose fries but were disappointed when they still sent both over rice. The chicken was very dry and tough, and the rice was undercooked, giving it a crunchy texture. It's disappointing because we used to really enjoy the gyros from this place.

There are not many vegan-friendly options in this area, so we decided to try out this restaurant based on a previous review. My partner and I both ordered the vegan gyro. To my disappointment, when I opened it, I found that it was filled with fries instead of the expected ingredients. It was served in a pita bread with salad and sauce. I ended up throwing out the fries and only ate the salad. Overall, I was not impressed and do not plan on returning. This review was updated on December 31, 2021.

I was thrilled to find multiple vegan options (even labeled vegan! on this meat filled menu. I had the vegan gyro rice bowl so DELICIOUS! Rice, mixed greens, veggies amazing hummus! I called around 8pm on a Thursday and the order was ready to pick up in about 10 minutes. Fair warning there are multiple kinds of meat on rotisserie display directly behind the counter my reason for docking a star!
