The Flying Horse Inn

As a pilgrim who had traveled 15 kilometers from my previous camping site, this guest house was a godsend. We were greeted by friendly locals sitting in the afternoon sun overlooking the local grilling area. They were welcoming, smiling, and curious about where we had come from. In need of a camping site for the night, as our next stop was still two hours away, we quickly set up camp as the afternoon turned to evening. The bar manager graciously allowed us to use their field in exchange for our custom. The field was a typical camping area with soft, fresh grass (perfect for a good night's sleep). beautiful pub 4.5 stars. the room was good. we were here on the way through a walk to canterbury. we were in the room of canterbury, which had a bath, was nice for sour bodies. we could hear the pub down in our room, which is not too surprising, but was not loud enough to stop us. many gluten-free options that are great and why I choose it, but do not stay 5/5. that was in order. the breakfast was good, but I would appreciate a gluten-free bread with my full English. the staff was friendly and attentive. would come back.

We had a wonderful stop at The Flying Horse before our Eurotunnel trip. The Sunday roast was delicious and we enjoyed sitting in the beer garden, which had sunshine well into the evening. We recommend making a reservation in advance, especially if you arrive later in the day and are looking for food.

The restaurant is situated in a lovely location with friendly staff, offering a variety of drink and food options. There is a cricket field in front of the restaurant and ample parking space in the back.

they love this pub with views of the village green, which cricket has during the season. good food, friendly staff. cozy fire also in winter.
