The Frying Pan - Reservar uma mesa

A few years ago, on a day trip from Hertfordshire to Southend, we enjoyed a delicious meal of fish and chips at The Frying Pan. The portions were large and not greasy, and we especially loved the homemade purple slaw and tartare sauce. Unfortunately, the restaurant closed due to a fire, but we were thrilled to discover that it had reopened. On our recent visit, we found that the food was still of excellent quality, the establishment looked beautiful, and the family who runs the business is incredibly kind. Although we wish The Frying Pan was closer to home, the journey was definitely worth it. We will definitely be returning soon and highly recommend a visit. Thank you, Hedy, Stan, and Lara...

I stopped by this restaurant on the way back from a hospital appointment and found it to be very busy. However, our order was prepared quickly. The cod was absolutely delicious, with a light and crispy batter. My husband and I shared a portion of chips, which was more than enough for us. The medium-sized fish was quite large, making us curious about the size of a "large" portion. Overall, we were very impressed and highly recommend this place as a special treat. We definitely plan on returning.

This is in my opinion the best fish and chip shop. Everything is cooked to perfection and I love they offer salmon and healthier options. The homemade coleslaw, tartare sauce and desserts are out of this world

This is the best fish and chip shop in all of Britain. You won't find a better one anywhere. The service is friendly, fast, and the food is incredibly delicious. Simply amazing.

Great quality fish and chips, good sized portions, good prompt ffeshly cooked, great value. Will definitely return whenever in Southend.
