On August 13 we had dinner here. Had amazing chowder, great scallops, acceptable poutine, steak sandwich with berry salad looked good and I was able to have a small glass of beer which was perfect for me. I like to have some but can never finish a regular 1/2 pint. But I didn't give a higher rating because of the incredibly unpleasant and unsmiling hostess. She seated us with a broody look on her face as if she couldn't wait to get away from her job. I watched her seat others and same treatment. This was my second visit, for my girlfriends Birthday this time, and it seems to always be completely packed. With that being said the way the staff handles the seating sections you'd never know that the restaurant is busy. It seems that everyone pitchs in and your plate is never left empty in front of you for long, your glass is filled up seemingly with the stealth of House Elf (for you Harry Potter Geeks:)). The atmosphere in this old historical building was very pleasant and welcoming.The food was excellent, and the service . . .our waitress was knowledgeable and explained the menu selections very well.My Seafood Jambalaya was among the best I have ever eaten. Very well seasoned with an abundance of seafood! The Seafood chowder and the Calamari were also very tasty and abundantly flavoured. I had a fantastic meal!

Arrived hungry and thirsty after day exploring city on food and Gahan did not disappoint! Our server was great with tips on beers, which locally made by PEI brewing company, and food fantastic, especially nachos, and quesadillas! Server also very helpful in suggesting other restaurants to visit, and venues in greater Charlottetown. Will definitely look for these great beers in our local LCBO!! Reserve uma mesa agora

Can't say enough good things about this place and it's people. From management on down, everyone was so helpful and did a great job. Devon, Mandy, Stephanie and others are obviously proud in what they do and make you feel very welcome. The food was great and the variety of beers and drinks was fantastic. I highly recommend you stop in.

Personnel très sympathique, ambiance décontractée, de bonne bières et un bon choix de plats. Je recommande la chaudrée de fruit de mer, les fish cakes ainsi que les calmars. Les prix sont raisonnables. Il y a une terrasse.On peut aussi rapporter de la bière à la maison.

I have had my share of burgers from many different restaurants. If you come here and are picky as I am when it comes to burgers you need to try The Big G Burger. Rated one of my new favourites! Also try the amazing bowl of carrot soup with a blend of mint and orange.

Had dinner here on our trip through Charlottetown. Food was really tasty and some items quite original. Also had the pleasure of dining for lunch at the Halifax harbour location, right on the water. Highly recommend either location! Reserve uma mesa agora

Your typical pub atmosphere and pub food. Very busy and distracting activity. Offerings were pretty pricey. Just had appetizers and a pitcher and for not much more could have had lobster dinner elsewhere.

We were in Charlottetown for several days and found this a nice place for dinner. Pub atmosphere with pub type food. Good service
