The Garage - Reservar uma mesa

I've been to The Garage countless times over the last few decades. It still feels like the place it has been since the beginning. It's an unpretentious, unique, comfortable place with a dark divey interior and the best patio in Birmingham. There are lots of odd things to see out there and a beautiful, peaceful wisteria canopy. You'll find lots of cozy private spots for a date or large tables for a group. The cocktails are super solid and reasonably priced. There's a decent beer selection too. Previously an actual garage, like where they used to repair cars. So, bonus points for authenticity right up front. No fake fern bar **** or faux grit. And none of the posers who frequent the nearby microbreweries and places like that. If that's what you're looking for, head to Avondale or Trim Tab.Small inside area. Cozy. Great bartenders. There's a pretty large outdoor area between the old garage bays where you can sit. The bays are all full of random junk locked up behind locked sliding glass doors, like old motel rooms. Great atmosphere, cool staff, great selection of beer and drinks. Beautiful in the springtime when the wisteria is blooming.

This is a really neat, hole in the wall, locals bar. The back courtyard is amazing.
