after so many excellent restaurants around vevey made it difficult to visit one for our special meal of the week, but the garden on the lake had so many excellent reviews I thought this would be a safe choice- sad, we were abandoned. a little disappointed by the experience. eating was absolutely excellent, I had to start the foie gras and the tortellini for pornstars who were really delicious, but the atmosphere was missing only for me. the personal was very friendly and happy to help us (as I always found in the Swiss fall) with our bad command of French, but the combination of an empty restaurant, patchy radio play in the background and fluorescent lighting just not to our expectations. ea...

in the garden of hostellerie bon rivage (definitiw underestimated as 3 stars hotel) the restaurant has established itself as a consistent place to enjoy dining in a classic/creative environment. a large terrace for the fresco and a beautiful view of Lake Geneva...and the harbour of la tour de peilz is part of this charming place. easy access and sufficient parking are a plus. picture of sundown 8pm sept) now for eating: presentation is impeccable! the menu is limited in the selection to offer fresh! but they will find enough sorts to inspire their palate. the local traditional filet de perches plate is guaranteed to do fresh from the lake (no frozen imports like some other restaurants.) the...

really do not blame that this wonderful jewel of an orte. we went past the lake and called without booking. had a beautiful meal on the sunny terrace with views of the sea. fantastic sea caught fish with risotto and sweet, followed by birne and apple. art and two beautiful bottles sancerre! that would have been rude. would also remain there. wonderful

we came to lunch and had a wonderful experience on their terrace. the menu is French classic and very well prepared. the service is warm and professional. will return very soon.
