The Garrison - Reservar uma mesa

We went to the stairs and sat at the bar. We wouldn't have asked for a better experience. Beau our waiter/bartender was great! Our food was good. My husband's main rib was perfectly cooked, well seasoned and huge. My black tuna was beautiful and spicy. It had Kaper upstairs. The mix of spices with capers in a butter cream sauce was a perfect match for the darkened tuna. The vegetables were a wonderful winter mix and supplemented our meals. The broken potatoes were brilliant and I have to try to make them myself. The craft beer selection was good and I wanted a beer, but I didn't want a whole drink. Our waiter lets me buy a 1/2 beer. I haven’t tried many dishes, I keep saying I am going to but their salmon is so outstanding,moist and delicious that I keep going back to it every time. Friends get a lot of dishes and they all look fanatastic! Love the industrial atmosphere too! The only thing I don’t like about The Garrison is that they aren’t in my hometown, but an hour and 1/2 away!

This place had my steak super carburized at a middle pace when I ordered medium well! The manager Charlene was not the most beautiful person to speak with my experience with my staff, and the price was somehow high compared to the quality of food.

What can I say about the Garrison? It's a great Fremont restaurant. The food is gasto-pub style fare. Love the burgers and sandwiches. Plenty of good beer to choose from.
