The Gem - Reservar uma mesa

We booked for 8 yet when we arrived, we were informed “you were just beaten by a bigger group, we’ll have to sit you in two groups of 4”.....I mean I’m not sure why they take reservations if they are going to sit us separately. It may have been excusable if the tables were even in eye sight of one another but we were sat in completely seperate rooms. All service upstairs seemed to be from the one staff member who was obviously struggling with the volume. Food itself was good albeit expensive for what it was. the first time in the gem, and this is it. enjoyable evening, great music by nathan detroit that fits in the eclectic style and the warm atmosphere. big discovery will be back.
