We were at the George on Thursday night for a birthday party. We were served our starters mains and desserts in record time; even considering the staff were rushed off their feet with many bookings for both food and drink. Everything was delicious, the birthday boy was very pleased with his birthday celebrations at the George! Glad we chose your venue. We even stayed for karaoke which we did not expect to stay for! Steph was not only an efficient manager but also served the food and drinks to us; not every landlady/manager will do that… not in the places we usually go to anyway. We were very excited after reading the description here. A complete vegan menu including tofish and chips. Sad The George has no separate vegan menu and the only option on offer was a falafel burger. In addition, the fact that the bar staff refused to recognize us even at the bar, and you have a very disappointing experience. We went down the street 100 yards and ended up with a quite reasonable curry.

Big shout out to Brandon and the rest of the team. Always polite and very helpful when we book for dinner. Brandon is so sweet and remember my elderly grandmother and her food and drink order. Pub has a good vibe, good prices and good drinks menu

The bartender, tani was amazing lovely smile and really sweet. Atmosphere was really cool definelty coming back

It was my first time here and I had such a good time! Tania was so wonderful serving drinks. so fun!
