The George - Reservar uma mesa

the george is a lively place in the weekends with good weather spoons priced drinks and offers. generally a friendly amount, with courtesy helpful bar staff. eating is standard chains pub fair, not terrible, but nothing to rave. at the price they pay his perfectly acceptable. a good place to meet friends at the beginning of the night or for a quick up. it is extremely childish/family-friendly during the day, and the menus and personal tolerance for small and their inability to sit still happy reflects this.

The pub in general Is okay but they have one of the worst, rudest members of staff I have ever met!. Her name was Hannah and she was the manager apparently!. I have never been so uncomfortable in my life when she was being the rudest worst member of staff I've ever encountered when we pointed out she's brought the wrong food over!!!

Cavernous Spoons in a nice old building, sadly soon to close I hear. Decent choice of ales, but not all on great form. Full of old people pushing peas around the plate. Meh!

Packed. A good spread of young and older people. The cheapest prices for beer anywhere.
